Q. What would you like to tell me about your group?
Gaming By Grace is a dynamic and excited group of online gamers who desire to have a good time playing Halo! We look for other gamers who exhibit mature, respectful attributes and encourage them to be a part of the world of mature game play. We desire that all members, Christian or not, experience the fun and enjoyment of the game. We will always say “Good Game!” to those we face, win or lose.
We have a website, http://www.GamingByGrace.com, with a vibrant and active forum with many different topics of discussion.
The leaders of Gaming By Grace are mature Christians who meet the standard of Overseers as directed by Paul to Timothy. Through community events, matchmaking, prayer and bible studies we bring opportunities to our members to experience God and see that He is real in their lives.
Q. How many members does your group currently have?
Our HC Group shows around 60 members, but we are growing rapidly. We have only existed as a group since November. The favor of the Lord has been upon us and brought some amazing individuals to our group.
Q. Who can join your group? Are there any special requirements?
Special requirements... hmmm? Well maturity and respect would probably be the two main things. Some people might think that you have to be a Christian, but that is not a requirement. I think it is cool to open things up to where those that have questions about Christianity or faith can come and be free of ridicule or criticism. We just ask that you respect what we believe and not be counter to that in our group. The Overseers of our group are here to serve the community in any way we can. We are honored to serve.
Q. Is there anything about your group that you think is unique, that you would like to tell the people of HaloCharts?
Gaming By Grace is about GRACE. As one of the leaders of GBG, I can tell you I have not lead a perfect life, nor do I now. I have done things in my life that I am not proud of or even want to talk about. I lived a life full of lies and hurt those that I loved. It was only when I experienced the grace of God that my life changed. We believe that Jesus is the answer to the issues of life and by experiencing the abundance of grace and His gift of righteousness we can reign over sin in this life.
Every Monday night we have a Bible Study in the Pre-Game lobby! At 6:30 PST and 9:00 PST we have seasoned, mature Christians bring an interesting aspect of the Bible to life for those who would like to experience the love of God. Our website has more information.
Q. Give me your sales pitch as to why you think I should join your group.
GBG is about serving the community. We do this by being respectful and mature in our gameplay. We actively promote having a good time and a good game with others, no matter what their belief system is. We want to impact the gaming community in a positive way. We are looking for those who want to partner with us to build bridges, open communication, encourage one another, comfort those in need and to strengthen the gaming community.

Hi truth!
Gaming By Grace, really is a great clan. I have played against and with them. They are a bunch of nice guys. We have some good memories together. Once, my friends and I got matched up against Truth and GBG. The game was Splockets on Sandtrap as we could see in the pregame lobby. I remember Truth saying, "alright guys we are all gonna gun for sanctious on this one." At the start I took a goose up to the hill and he did not lie. I recall four maybe five of them gunning for me giving me loads of trouble.
Playing with and against these guys is always a good time, especially if you are looking for a more wholesome, calm, cool crowd to run with.

I've been a member of GBG for awhile now. And everyone i meet through GBG has been a great XBL Freind.. and some even more. Belonging to GBG has made me feel really good, and totally changed the way i look at playing halo. I was made welcome from the start. I wouldnt trade GBG for any other group, always a great group of guys waiting on XBL when i sign on, jump straight in a party and hit MM or even doing customs.
I dont know what id have ever done had I not joined up. Theres even been a few who have helped me in a huge way, and im sure they will continue to do so.. not just with my skills in halo, but with my personal life as well.
If your looking for a great group of gamers, who are all very respectful, helpful, and great to be around.. come check us out.

QFT! Since joining GBG I have met so many decent respectful gamers. I had no idea this many existed from my xbox live experiences in the past. I'd also like to thank HaloCharts for contributing to the decent players population and for supporting Gaming by Grace.

First off I have to say Thank you very much Firestream and the Prophets here on Halocharts for making an amazing site, and also for featuring the AMAZING GamingByGrace as the featured group.
I joined GBG about 3 months ago. Let me tell you, best decision I could have ever made. They are the most amazing group of people I have ever met. I never have to play alone nor do i have to put up with the nonsense of people on my team anymore. Everyone is mature and so level headed, even the young of the group.
I am truly honored to be an Admin of GBG. I couldn't ask for more. I encourage and hope to see some of your faces over at GBG.

First off, you can apply here. After applying, try and get some game time in with GBG members and administrators. The administrators have an "open door policy", so if you have any questions you can go right to them if that's what you desire. I have not been on these forums as much lately mainly because of my recent promotion to "GBG Team Captain". I am mainly in charge of the MLG Team, while a friend is in charge of the BTB side of things.
Being a leader of the team, I can really say that all of GBG is purely on a "good game" basis, even if we get slaughtered 3-0 in Avalanche Flag (Which has yet to happen). Although I will admit we are pretty good at BTB (Winning 93.5% of our games since my joining), we always play for fun, and will accept defeat, and always focus more so on God.
Anyways, I hope to see you guys join GBG, it will change your life... Literally.

Im so happy to see GBG being spotlighted by halocharts. Truth pastor has been a real friend to me through alot of garbage that has happened in the past. His example of leadership and his ability to make the right and ethical choices no matter what, inspired and helped me when i was faced with tough choices within my own clan.
When i first met truth many many months ago, it was on bad terms. Well let me say i wanted his and every member of his old clans head.... HA! He was the first person to come to me and really reach out, i realized soon that he was very genuine and truly wanted peace. Though i wont go into specific details, lets just say it was complex.
In the coming months i became closer with truth pastor, and my respect for him as a person and player grew and grew. Each of us left our respective clans to start something new... and better. GBG is truly a group that deserves notice and the communitys thanks. They are here to compete, befriend and spread a message of love and acceptance no matter what your background. I hope you all get a chance to meet and talk with truth pastor and GBG, he is an example to halo and the community that we should all strive to be like.
I am fortunate to play with truth atleast a few times a week normaly, and i am very grateful for every game and every conversation we have. Thanks truth for all your support and caring, it is very rare to see a person with such morals and values in a place that can harbor such hatred and negativity.
