How long does it take for a player page to update?
A player page will update every 3 days as long as somebody is looking at it. Supporters can update their player page anytime they'd like.
Why do I not have the awards for multi High Skill 40, 45 or 50 (2x,3x,etc)?
Those awards are for supporters only since they rely on Game Data.
After I donate, how long does it take for my account to show Supporter Status?
It's usually instant, but sometimes it can take a few minutes to a few hours. If after 3 or 4 hours your account still isn't showing Supporter Status, please use the Contact page to let us know.
I am a Supporter with multiple 50's in different playlists. How come my award for this doesn't show up?
A lot of times players reach 50 and then don't actually play a game as 50 in the playlist. So it never gets registered on Bungie.net. To fix this, just go play a game as your 50 and whether you win or lose it will be on Bungie.net and the award will then show up here.
What is EXP Effectiveness?
EXP Effectiveness is a player's total EXP divided by a player's total matchmade games. The result is a percent that can show how effective a player is at winning games. However, double EXP game types can increase this value at a faster rate so it is not as accurate as it once was.
What is HCS?
HCS stands for "HaloCharts Score". HCS is a scoring system designed to give players a rank on this website. It is based completely off of Ranked games and stats and excludes EXP. Key stats that help a player's HCS include highest skill, k/d ratio, kills per game, games played, and headshots. There are other things that affect HCS, but the exact formula for HCS is not public.
If I change my gamertag will all of my stats and goals transfer?
Yes, they will. You can change your tag by going to My Account. If you renamed your tag on Xbox Live, HaloCharts will migrate your stats over. If you change your tag to a completely new account, please let us know so that your stats don't get combined.
What are salutes?
Registered members can "salute" other players, which is basically a way of showing that you respect the player. It takes a week for a new account to have the ability to salute players.
I'm a supporter and my infection stats don't look correct.
A lot of players have complained that their infection stats look incorrect. Apparently the games are also incorrect on bungie.net, usually missing zombie kills and are therefore incorrect here on HaloCharts.
How do I put one of my player sigs into my forum signature?
Its pretty easy. Go to your page, click player sig images. Then pick the sig you want and copy the bbcode. Then go to My Account and paste the code into the forum signature box.
Why aren't my Player Sig Images updating?
Probably because you now have to set them to update nightly in your options. Click My Account to set it.
What is a Prophet?
The Prophets here are the moderators of the site. They watch everything with a careful eye and will strike down all that oppose them. Their knowledge and power is unmatched.
Why is my HCS negative?
It could be a lot of reasons ranging from not enough coal in the furnace to an incorrect fuse in the breaker box. If this happens to you, just send Firestream a message. Most of the time it will resolve itself once your page updates again.
How many times do I have to donate?
After you donate (at least $10 for a year or $20 for lifetime) once you will become a supporter and you never have to donate again, unless you just want to. :)
What does Collect Player Data (CPD) mean?
When a member becomes a Supporter, a new button appears on their page. This button is the Collect Player Data button and allows that member to have HaloCharts collect information about all of the games they have played. This button is located on your player page below you armor and emblem graphics.
How are Players of the Day (POTD) selected?
Its a super secret formula. :)
