Playlist Population JSON service
Posted on 2013-01-22 00:00:00
There's a new JSON service we have up for anybody to use. This service will return the current playlist populations and the daily high. The data could be out by 15 minutes, but it still gives you a good idea of things. Enjoy!
Much improved Challenges JSON Service
Posted on 2013-01-04 00:00:00
The Challenges JSON service is meant to make it easy for anybody to fetch the active Halo 4 challenges and load them on a website or app. It's been glitchy for a while, but I have finally worked out the kinks.
Also, added two new things to each entry:
ChallengeEnds - shows the date/time when the challenge ends
ChallengeEndsNice - gives you a nice countdown till that date/time
Hope somebody finds it useful!
Back to Charting!

Happy to let everybody know that we can once again do the small amount of stat collection we are doing to provide the charts here. HaloWaypoint was alerted of the issue and took some time to figure out what was happening. All has been resolved, so things will start to update as normal once more. Thanks for your patience!
Daily Peak Population Added

There's a new chart showing the peak population of Halo 4 War Games on a daily basis. We only have a few days of data so far, but it will be interested to watch it trend, especially with Black Ops II launching next week.
Also, I fixed a bug in the Challenge JSON service, but it should be returning correct data now.
From the ashes...

Welcome to HaloCharts.com, version 3.0 for Halo 4. The goal this time around is to provide stats and charts for Halo 4 from a global perspective, due to the extreme amount of resources required to do per player stats and leaderboards.
So what you see now is a small start, but should be somewhat interesting if you care about population trends, etc. There's more in work, including things that will help other sites out there.
