| Site Update: January 6, 2009 |
- Had some hardware issues today and one of the servers go down. This is why the site was up & down around 4pm central.
- There were a number of little problems as a result of the crash, but I think I've fixed them. Please let me know of any lingering issues.
- The Goal system has been tweaked a little. A lot of goals for hard to get kills and medals were pretty unreasonable. The suggested amounts for these now take into account the rarity of the kill and medal. So go ahead and set that Killionaire goal!
- New Chart: Most Popular Playlists
- New for Supporters: 7, 30 & 90 day EXP Effectiveness. The link for this is on your player page down near the bottom by the Rocket Race stats link. Basically this will tell your your EXP Effectiveness over games in the last 7, 30 & 90 days.

- I setup the Pure Assists Leaderboard
- Your rank in Pure Assists is also on you player page now
- Keep in mind that the leaderboard is still populating. It might be a week before everyone is caught up.
- I added an option to turn off the completed goal messages under My Account.

- Added a new stat to Supporter player pages: Pure Assists
- Pure Assists is the total number of assists you have, excluding any wheelman medals you have. The idea for this came from Gridiron Grace. A leaderboard for this is in the works. You will need to Collect Player Data for the stat to show up.
- Added an overall KAPD (Kills & Assists Per Death) stat to Supporter player pages. Leaderboard coming soon!
- Added an overall KAPG (Kills & Assists Per Game) stat to Supporter player pages. Leaderboard coming soon!
- With the hope of allowing stats to update a little faster, I've added a 2nd link to the game collector that you can choose after your games are done loading. Basically, it will refresh your player page stats, but skip the rank recalculation, which takes a very long time. so if you don't care about your ranks, or are in a hurry, you can use the 2nd link now.

- There are 11 new forum ranks now. They are all 2nd grade versions of the main ranks, but this allows you forum-goers out there to rank up more often!
- If you set your gender under My Account, it now shows on player pages. It also links to a new chart showing HC Gender Breakdown
- I tweaked the emblem matching stats some. Now if you hover over your emblem on your page, you'll see a count of those with similar emblems and those with exact. Then if you click you'll be taken to the emblem grid and it is now grouped by color.
- When you complete a goal, you will now get an alert telling you of its completion.
- I just added some more stuff to the My Score section on the forum. Right under the score stats, you'll now see a list of the last 50 posts you've made to receive Great Post points. You'll also see the total points for each post.
- Also, there's a link at the top of the list that allows you to sort your posts by score allowing you to easily see your most popular posts. Enjoy!

| Be safe tonight! | Happy New Years, and Thank you so Much!
On behalf of the members of the Christmas Group project and all the members of HaloCharts.com, it is my priviledge to extend a word of recognition and thanks to our distinguished Site Founder and Administrator, Firestream.
I can't imagine the kind of conceptual, organizational and administrative talents required for conceiving, developing and maintaining a site of this magnitude, but they are assuredly many and varied. Behind all the convenience we have here for tracking our progress in Halo 3 matchmaking, behind the precise organization and format of the site, behind the cultivation and maintenance of a site serving a large community of Halo enthusiasts, is this outstanding gentleman we know as "Firestream". Nor is he merely a website designer and admin of no mean skills. It has been my delight to have found him an eminently friendly and approachable person as well.
It would have been appropriate, as it has always been well deserved, to have bestowed this some time ago. But it is now our pleasure in this holiday season to present to our Administrator and Friend the awards of "Most Dedicated Site Owner" and "Member Of The Year".
Firestream, you occupy a high place in our esteem.

- For Supporters: A few tweaks have been made to the game collectors. I added an option you can use if you feel like the system is missing games that will basically force the system to go back and re-fetch all of your games. It will take a few minutes for this to complete and shouldn't have to be used very often, but the option is now available.
- When you Collect Player Data now, you'll see how many games were added to the system.
- The 7-day and 30-day k/d ratios on player pages now link to the Daily K/d Ratio chart.
- Unread messages that get to be 30 days old will automatically be deleted from the site. This is to save resources.
- There are 3 new leaderboards for playlist ranks. I set them up for General, Brigadier and Colonel. I may do the lower ranks sometime later.

- Essentre has made 8 more headers!
- Clicking in the header area will take you to the All Header page. TMS LW198 tossed the idea my way.
- The Game Finder By Type charts have been updated to include averages and totals for whatever game type you select.
- Any topics you start in forums will now give you the option of editing the topic's subject.

| Site Update: December 21, 2008 | Prophet Updates & new Videos Section!
- Starting today, the Prophets are allowed to post news on the front page of the site. Expect to see frequent news postings and updates on various happenings going on here and at other Halo sites!
- The Videos link up at the top now links to a new Videos Group Forum! We'll be posting links to videos that we want to feature, and you can post links and comment as well. Take a look!

- I upgraded a few things on the server earlier today and broke some things while I was at it. I've fixed most of the major issues though.
- Some speed enhancements have been made and a few others are coming.

| Site Update: December 14, 2008 | Group Ranks & 250,000 tracked!
- You can now setup ranks for any groups you own. There are a lot of uses for ranks and I'm glad I could add it to the system. Its been a heavily requested features. You can also use ranks to divide your group members into sub-groups or teams.
- Today the site reached 250,000 tracked players!
